The Great Riversongs
“Bert’s Art Sail”
Banner Challenge
Aboriginal Day / Summer Solstice
June 21
Our Goal
To fill the bay in front of the Stocky Centre with Banners flying from Sail or Paddle powered Boats, and watch them fly to music created by the children of
Parry Sound and area.
How To Take Up The Challenge
Visit any of our banner making stations for help and advice on how to make your banner.
Bring your banner to the Stockey Centre by 5 PM on June 21.
The Art Sail, Canoe Choir and Kayak Ballet will take place at 7 PM. Your banner will fly from the mast of a Keel Boat affiliated with Sail Parry Sound, or on
White Squall’s Big Canoe.
Would you like to participate in your own boat?
Please contact Sail Parry Sound, or email us at whisperingriverorchestra@gmail.com
Please call 905 960 9281 for more information.
